“Who’s Behind Black Art” held its red carpet sneak preview at the Regal Union Square on Sept. 9th, 2023. It’s an upcoming four-episode docuseries directed by John Campbell, following five young, NYC-based, Black artists navigating the commercial art world. Artists include Jewel Ham, Tae Ham, Laurena Finéus, Mario Joyce, and Adrian Armstrong, and is co-produced by Good Black Art’s founder Phillip Michael Collins, and other amazing EPs including Valerie Meraz and Thomas E. Moore III.

Gallery Gurls founder Jasmin Hernandez is featured in the docuseries as a special guest contributor including notable peers like ARTNOIR co-founder Larry Ossei-Mensah, Cierra Britton Gallery founder, Cierra Britton, Public Art Fund Assistant Curator, Jenée-Daria Strand and many more.
