'Antonio Lopez: Fashion, Art, Sex & Disco', Monograph Celebrates Puerto Rican Artist's Career
I'm ecstatic about the release of Rizzoli's new book which celebrates the work of iconic fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez. Written by the Padilha brothers ( who were behind the successful Stephen Sprouse Book), this monograph chronicles all of Lopez's stylish sketches along with his collaborations partner and art director Juan Ramos. Lopez honed his skills in New York in the 60s working with WWD, The New York Times and Vogue. Ultimately, he made a bigger impact in Paris in the 70s discovering such talents like Jerry Hall, Grace Jones, and Tina Chow. This is a must staple to add to any fashion library.
