Keni Valenti: The Vintage Fashion King in Wynwood

Keni Valenti: The Vintage Fashion King in Wynwood

While gallery hopping in Wynwood, I had the joy of finding Keni Valenti's vintage designer boutique. Being a vintage maven myself I immediately recognized the name and remembered his boutique in NYC. He was formidable host and recounted  stories from his early years in Manhattan. From crazy nights in Studio 54, patternmaker to Betsy Johnson, working abroad in Japan, relocating back to NYC and eventually moving down to Miami, Mr. Valenti and has seen and done it all. The vintage treasures in his shop run the gamut from a  Norma Kamali pinstriped jacket, Stephen Burrows multi-colored skirt, Custo Barcelona silk dress, Gucci white horsebit sandals and Givenchy tortoiseshell sunglasses.  A sartorial treat for vintage lovers in Miami for sure.
