Pieter Hugo's Hauntingly Beautiful New Show 'Kin' at Yossi Milo

South African contemporary photographer Pieter Hugo presents a new series entitled 'Kin' at Yossi Milo on September 6th. Hugo, who has extensively documented various African subcultures and identities, further explores race, income, and class in his native South Africa. This series of color photographs present apost-apartheidSouth Africa two decades since it's demise. Issues dealing with colonization and racial diversity are showcased throughout the images, reinforcing South Africa's tainted past and challenging future.
