ABMB 2012: Wynwood Arts District

The sweetest part of this trip was discovering Wynwood with it's thriving, hungry, ambitious grafitti scene. This art district was developed by the late real estate mogul Tony Goldman who envisioned turning this industrial zone into an explosive, visually stimulating street art haven. He certainly succeeded with Wynwood Walls, a yard filled with most the  intense and stunning grafitti murals around. There were several other elements to this cool neighborhood such as a whole slew of unique art galleries, artists' studios, the highly esteemed Rubell Family Collection, vintage fashion boutiques and appetizing food trucks.
